This PlugIn is designed as a demuxing/decoding enhancement for Harmonic’s (Rhozet) „Carbon Coder”. While Carbon reads many video file formats you’ve certainly faced the situation that Carbon refuses a certain type of formats. This problem is addressed by our importer plugin via a generic demuxing/decoding engine that reads nearly any known professional, semi-professional or consumer video file format. So far there are no files know that it can not make available for transcoding with Carbon.

This PlugIn is designed as a coding enhancement for Harmonics (Rhozet) „Carbon Coder”. It adds a so called exporter which allows to utilize FFMPEG as coding and muxing engine. This is not achieved by driving a standard FFMPEG build, but by making use of the libavcodec C++ API. The interface is completely native. Any output file is live encoded and muxed within the same transcoding step.

This PlugIn is designed as a functional enhancement for Harmonics (Rhozet) „Carbon Coder”. It adds a video filter that allows to utilize AviSynth for video processing. This is achieved by executing AviSynth scripts on the decoded source. This said this filter gets configured by scripting. That way all the power from AviSynth is made available within Carbon.
